A History of Supporting Iowan Artists

Since 2013, the Iowa Artists on Display program has been providing artists with the opportunity to showcase their works at our downtown Des Moines headquarters. Now, we’re excited to announce that we’re launching a new addition to the program – a limited series podcast featuring the artists behind the scenes.

Co-hosted by Attorneys Grace Bogart and Cody Edwards, the podcast is dedicated to the world of art and will feature exclusive interviews with the creative minds in the program. They’ll be discussing all things art, including their backgrounds, their skills and techniques, as well as what motivates them and who their influences are as they create their artwork.

Now available, the first episode in the series features artists Jess Quinn, who is focused on creating vibrant, large oil paintings of florals and botanical pieces; and Deanna Skokan, a nature-themed artist who focuses on painting landscapes, wildlife, and rural scenes. 

You can listen to the first episode directly on our website, or you can find it on Spotify and Stitcher (coming to Google and Apple soon). New episodes will air on a monthly basis over the next few months.
