As a member of the firm’s Banking, Trusts and Estates, and Employment Law Practice Groups, David Gonzales assists individuals and business clients in a variety of legal matters, including banking regulation, trusts and estate law, banking law, and immigration and employment issues. He also serves bank trust departments, helping resolve trust administration issues. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal court, as well as in administrative matters before the FDIC, Federal Reserve, and Iowa Division of Banking. David also provides banking clients with legislative analysis of bills pending in the Iowa Legislature.

David regularly blogs and presents topics to groups on various banking and employment issues, including new laws and regulations that affect individuals and financial institutions, contemporary immigration issues, employment topics such as the I-9 verification process, and much more.

Prior to pursuing a career in the law, David worked for ten years in media relations and broadcasting for professional hockey teams and local radio stations both on and off the air. He also worked in crop input financing for six years, and is a veteran of the United States Army Field Artillery Corps.
