Cannabis Banking: Dickinson attorneys to present at Community Bankers of Iowa Leadership Conference

Attorneys David Gonzales, Emily Staudacher and Emily McGovern will be presenting a breakout session on Cannabis Banking during the CBI Annual Leadership Development Conference on March 20. Their session will include the latest on hemp regulations, working with cannabis-related businesses, and regulatory reporting requirements.
The two-day event takes place at the Hilton Downtown Des Moines and is part of CBI’s Leaders of Tomorrow program which was created to enhance the leadership skills of future banking leaders. Non-program members are also welcome to attend.
Other featured speakers at this year’s conference include Jeff Plagge, Superintendent of the Iowa Division of Banking; Dave Roederer, Director of the Iowa Department of Management; and LTC (Ret.) Steve Ingalls, President & CEO of Catalyzer. Keynote speaker is Dr. Bill Withers, author and executive leader at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, the largest mainline evangelical church of its type in North America.
