In this episode of Beyond Juris, Grace invites Chris Draper of Trokt (previously interviewed on Episode #9) back to the stage to discuss NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and explain the connection or interrelatedness of NFTs and the intellectual property legal framework. If you are a digital artist, or have any interest in the newest crypto hype, give this episode a listen.

Trokt is a cloud-based platform that allows multiple parties to collaborate on complex or sensitive documents. It can be used to share and create documents in a secure and organized manner. It can be used in a variety of industries to protect data and make information sharing easy. For example, Trokt can be used as a project management platform for lawyers or proposal sharing for businesses with hightened privacy standards.

Forbes defines NFT's as:

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. They are bought and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos.

"The beauty of NFTs is its opportunity to prevent erasure in a world where you cannot control the product you create." - Chris Draper
